Full tub with the latest technology
A PP Pool is made of polypropylene, a type of plastic that is also approved for drinking water containers. The pool is delivered as a “single shell” to make installation as easy as possible. The plastic is solid-colored and available in thicknesses of 8 or 12 mm. Since polypropylene is a homogeneous material, scratches will not affect the pool's lifespan, and the pool cannot develop blistering or osmosis (which competing single shells such as fiberglass pools can).
The type of polypropylene used in our pools comes from the German company Röchling and is specially designed for pool manufacturing with UV-stabilized PP. The plastic being UV-stable means that the only change to the material over time is that it develops a more matte surface instead.
The material is available in several colors and allows for the manufacture of special seating benches, various types of stairs, overflow systems, and only imagination sets the limits.
Quick Installation
The PP Pool is delivered as a complete tub, and the installation is quick and easy. When installing the pool, you dig a hole where the pool will be placed, then lay down geotextile fabric, drainage, and a base layer. After this, bottom insulation comes together with the pool, which you then lower into place. As soon as the pool has been lowered into the hole, you can connect the pool, remove the protective film, start filling it with water, and backfill with dry mortar.
A typical installation time for a PP Pool is about one week from when the excavator starts digging the hole. However, for unstable ground such as sand or high groundwater, it is necessary to cast a concrete base slab on top of the drainage. Otherwise, the installation process is the same. Withstands temperatures over 33 degrees
A pool is meant to be enjoyed without feeling cold while swimming, which is why many of our customers prefer a 28 or even 30 degree swimming temperature in the pool. This is no problem with a PP Pool since the material can withstand temperatures even above 33 degrees.
Delivery & Installation
The PP pool is refilled with dry mortar on the sides while water is added to the pool. The dry mortar and water then form concrete. This makes the pool a concrete pool, which is the absolutely most stable type you can get and lasts the longest of all pool types without rusting or rotting.
The combination of a PP pool and concrete gives you the best of both worlds. You get a concrete pool that has all the advantages of a PP pool, such as long durability, no risk of rot, and it withstands higher temperatures.
Our pools have a frame made of Roechling CubX, which is a very strong yet lightweight material. CubX is constructed in the same way as airplane walls, where two horizontal walls are connected by many vertical walls. This makes the construction much more stable than when using PP alone.

Delivery
PP pools are delivered, just like fiberglass pools, as a "one-piece shell." By "one-piece shell," it means that the pool is delivered in a single unit where the pool's bottom, walls, and stairs are complete and finished upon delivery. Nowadays, "one-piece shell" is preferred because the installation time for the pool is much shorter, which results in a lower installation cost.
Installation of PP Pool
The installation of a PP pool is roughly the same as for a fiberglass pool. Below you can read about how the installation of a fiberglass pool is carried out:
- First, a hole is dug where the pool will be installed
- Drainage, base, and cast concrete slab are created
- The pool and insulation are placed
- The pool is backfilled while simultaneously filling with water
The above procedure takes no more than 1-2 weeks from delivery until the pool is ready for use.
The Lifespan of a PP Pool
The material in a PP Pool is UV-protected and very durable. The lifespan of the panels in a PP Pool is approximately 40-45 years, and the only change to the material over time is that the glossy surface becomes somewhat more matte after 10-15 years. If you are going to invest in a pool, the recommendation is to choose a PP pool, both for its lifespan and its durability.
PP Pool - Manufacturing and Material
A PP pool is made from the material polypropylene. Unlike fiberglass, polypropylene is not harmful to humans but is an environmentally friendly material that is also approved for various types of food containers and drinking water containers.
During manufacturing, homogeneous plates are welded together with a welding machine, where the stairs are also welded in using extrusion tools. The plates that make up the pool are between 8 mm and 12 mm thick, creating a stable and durable construction.
The material in a PP Pool comes in different colors, giving you the option to choose the color that suits you best.
Good Insulation Capability
A PP pool has good insulation capability and can withstand high temperatures. Polypropylene is an insulating plastic, and the material is provided with 30 mm insulation on the outside. Since both sides of the pool are insulated, only 6% of the heat escapes through the pool's walls and bottom. This means lower heating costs as 94% of the heat remains in the pool. To further reduce heating costs, it is recommended to get a pool cover since heat rises, and with the help of a pool cover, the heat stays in the water.
Many want a warm pool to enjoy, and a PP Pool is perfect for that. This type of pool can handle temperatures over 33 degrees, and if you like the idea of taking a dip in a warm pool, then a PP Pool is the right choice for you.
PGX UV Stabilization
In 2020, the manufacturer Roechling introduced an even more resistant material against chlorine and UV radiation than the current PG material. The new product is called PGX and ensures that the color lasts even longer and chlorine cannot bleach it as easily.
CAD drawing for every customer
When ordering, the factory's engineers create detailed drawings of each part in the form of a CAD drawing, which the customer approves and can plan the excavation accordingly.
Built-in staircase
The staircase is an important part of the pool's construction. Until 2011, the stairs were built with a substructure, meaning that cement was poured under the stairs. This outdated construction has been problematic both during installation and due to settling and ground movements. Over the years, most manufacturers have chosen to replace this with a water-filled staircase instead. The pool itself is manufactured as a single water barrier, and then the staircase is made inside the pool. This means there is no risk of the pool leaking if settling occurs at the staircase section. Under the stairs, there is water circulation directly from the sand filter, which is purified, and since algae do not form in the dark, there is no need to worry about water quality under the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, there are inlets where the water then circulates out into the pool.
Our stairs are made of semi-protected material “cubic grain” which is edge-free and a true masterpiece! Choose between a straight or rounded corner staircase with a bench, floating staircase, or full-end staircase. The staircase construction is very stable and does not flex thanks to skilled engineering calculations.
Which pool should you choose?
If you want a worry-free ownership, our recommendation is to choose a PP Pool. PP Pools have a long lifespan, are not affected by plague or cracks, and are energy efficient due to their high insulation capacity.
Buying a high-quality pool is preferable when investing in a pool. Since a pool is a significant investment, it is important to carefully consider the decision before deciding on the type of pool and construction you want.
